Hello friends,
We hope you have had a lovely first week of 2025, and that your New Year’s resolution remains intact – especially if it involves playing more golf over the next 51 weeks!
Here at Dryvebox, we recently celebrated our 2024 accomplishments before turning our attention to this year. We have exciting plans this year, including with TGL which officially debuted its simulator golf league yesterday. Thank you for being along for the ride – it’s only getting started.
Over the past couple of months, we had a chance to…
⛳ Join forces with Puttr to round out our offerings
⛳ Debut our partnership with The Bay Golf Club
⛳ Open up franchising in Canada
⛳ Launch a Dryvebox outside of Salesforce Tower
…and so much more!
The long-awaited debut of TGL, the new team golf league backed by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s TMRW Sports, finally arrived this week. All of the lights, cameras and action were on display on Tuesday as The Bay Golf Club secured a resounding 9-2 win over New York Golf Club. Jitters or not, Wyndham Clark, Shane Lowry and Ludvig Åberg quickly settled in, won the first hole, and cruised to the win.
We at Dryvebox were thrilled to play a role as TGL’s mobile golf simulator partner, working with both the league and its teams – including providing team-branded Boxes for Los Angeles Golf Club, The Bay Golf Club and Boston Commons Golf – to introduce them to new fans across the country.
Notably, we will have two Boxes parked outside of SoFi Center for every TGL match this season, one in partnership with the league and the other branded by a long-standing partner, Genesis. If you plan to be in Palm Beach Gardens, come say hi and try our simulator (with prizes on the line!) before the action begins. And if you can’t make it, tune into ESPN on Tuesday nights to catch TGL’s debut season – and to try to spot a Dryvebox on TV!
Rachael and Matt are no strangers to the golf industry – not when you consider they have 25+ combined years of industry experience. And that's what makes them perfect for Dryvebox.
Yet it’s not the only special thing about this dynamic duo. You can throw it back to the beginning of their love story, as it started at ASU Karsten Golf Course in Tempe. Even initially, golf was central to their lives, and that has never changed – including since they launched their Dryvebox.
From prestigious polo championships to luxury spa resorts, their golf simulator has traveled throughout Arizona bringing innovative golf experiences. Their wide range of appearances included the Fiesta Bowl Fan Fest and Waste Management week, where PGA Tour star Min Woo Lee stopped by for a session.
We're incredibly proud to see our simulator making an impact across the Phoenix community. For more on their story, check out our blog!
⛳ We heard your requests – so, yes, now you will be able to add putting to your Dryvebox experience! We linked up with Puttr to round out our offerings and further open up playing opportunities for anyone and everyone. For all the details, check out our blog.
⛳ Last year, our first Canadian Dryvebox debuted, and we look forward to more. Why? Because we just announced that we are offering franchises throughout Canada. You can find the full announcement here, and to get more info or apply, head to the franchise page!
⛳ Our Dryvebox simulators can now operate without an operator. We have begun rolling out self-service capabilities, allowing golfers to use a Dryvebox when the box is at its home base and not out and about serving an event. If you’re in San Francisco and want to try this out, give it a shot – we have a simulator parked in the plaza out front of Salesforce Tower.
⛳ Three months, three PGA TOUR stops with PXG. We ended 2024 with a trio of events – the Shriners Children's Open, the RSM Classic, and the Grant Thornton Invitational – where attendees could both learn about the latest in custom golf clubs and test out our mobile golf simulator.
⛳ We were able to share the Dryvebox story far and wide. Our CEO and Co-Founder Adeel Yang spoke with The First Call, the Petcash Podcast and Vetted Sports, diving into both our journey and the excitement that is the golf industry.
⛳ We partnered with the Bay Area’s newest sports team: The Bay Golf Club of TGL! To celebrate, we parked outside of Oracle Park in San Francisco with Jake Hutt hosting our classic Closest to the Pin challenge late last year. Take a look!
⛳ A lucky follower walked away with a three-hour Dryvebox holiday party after a social media giveaway. Don’t miss out on these opportunities – follow us on Instagram, LinkedIn, X and Facebook!
Thank you for joining us In the Box this month. Please reach out if you are interested in collaborating – from franchising to events and beyond.
Hit ‘em straight,
Dryvebox
