A Forever Home and a Passion for Golf
Ryan’s journey to Dryvebox began long before Tampa became home. A Virginia Tech graduate, Ryan served 20 years in the Army, including 15 years as a Special Forces Green Beret, with deployments to the Middle East and Latin America totaling nearly three years away from home. After nine family moves, Ryan along with his wife (Jacqui), their two children (Greyson and Emerson) and their two English Mastiffs decided to settle in Tampa.
Throughout his military career, golf remained a constant. Whether participating in tournaments on base or crafting makeshift driving ranges in the desert, Ryan always found ways to get his swings in. Inspired by building a simple golf simulator for his poolside lanai, Ryan realized Tampa could benefit from a mobile, state-of-the-art golf experience that could bring the game he loves anywhere, anytime.
A quick search led him to Dryvebox, and the rest is history.
Bringing Golf to Florida’s West Coast Communities
With four of Dryvebox's five Florida units on the state's East Coast or landlocked in the center of the state, Ryan stands alone for Dryvebox on Florida’s West Coast. He launched the company’s cutting-edge mobile golf simulator in Tampa last year in May. As the city and surrounding areas continue to grow with booming industries such as technology, healthcare, and finance, Dryvebox Tampa is leading the way in combining entertainment with innovation through golf.

Since launching last year in May during Special Operations Forces (SOF) Week, Ryan has brought Dryvebox Tampa to a wide array of events, creating memorable experiences for thousands.
