Visalia, California
Owner: Matt Taylor Launch: Jan. 1, 2024
The second-ever Dryvebox franchise debuted on New Year’s Day, and features both a mobile golf simulator and a golf lounge in downtown Tulare. The Visalia location got underway under the leadership of owner Matt Taylor who had already been in the golf business for two years — with his own golf club service company, Next Level Grips — before learning about Dryvebox and further scratching his golf entrepreneurial itch.
“Dryvebox was very impressive when I started researching the team, and once I met them I was even more impressed with the entire business model they were putting together. It just seemed like a perfect fit for myself and my partnership team. The leadership team here is so good and are real people working hard to grow the company. They allow you to run your business, but step in to support when it’s needed. I’m very lucky to be a part of this team and able to serve central California. I can’t wait to see where this business will go next.” — Matt Taylor
Jacksonville, Florida
Owner: Tim Gromacki Launch: Live now, with public launch events in the spring
Dryvebox Jacksonville began taking business on Feb. 15, and will officially launch in the spring. Tim Gromacki, the owner in Jacksonville, is bringing the second Dryvebox location to Florida as it joins the one in Palm Beach. Along with spending time with his wife, two daughters and two dogs, Gromacki stays active by playing golf and pickleball — and now he can be involved in the game every day.
“Dryvebox checked all of the boxes for me while looking for what was next in my professional career. I researched extensively and interviewed with the team, understood the golf simulator industry was on a great growth trajectory, and realized their vision and product would thrive in my area. Add in the positive impact you can have in the Jacksonville community by bringing good vibes and a great game to all — it was a no-brainer.” — Tim Gromacki
Atlanta, Georgia
Owners: Daniel Hendrickson and Rob Lynn Launch: Live now, with public launch events March 15-17
Dryvebox will officially launch in Atlanta in mid-March after it began taking business on Feb. 15. Over time, Atlanta will become a major hub for Dryvebox as multiple units will launch to account for widespread demand. A duo of Georgia residents who love playing a few holes, Daniel Hendrickson and Rob Lynn, are the owners. Their path began with Hendrickson’s friend tipping him off about the Dryvebox opportunity, and just a few months later he and Lynn are up and running.
“From the first time we heard about Dryvebox, we knew we needed to be involved. This company fills a gap in the market and will allow us to bring Atlanta a wholly unique, undeniably fun golf experience. We have loved seeing the genuine enjoyment on people’s faces when they get inside a Dryvebox. Being involved in the business of golf is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and it makes it even better knowing the excitement we are bringing to Atlanta.” — Daniel Hendrickson and Rob Lynn
Frisco, Texas
Owner: Brad Toth Launch: Live now, with public launch events March 22-24
Dryvebox debuts in Texas thanks to Brad Toth, the Frisco owner who was investigating entrepreneurial ways to enter the golf industry before learning about the mobile golf simulators. Toth, a one-time high school teacher who then ran his own real estate business, was sold when he met the Dryvebox team in San Francisco and learned of their successful track record, love of golf and desire to make golf more accessible.
“I knew I wanted to be involved in golf, but initially I didn’t know the best route. Once I found out about Dryvebox, I knew I had the vehicle — literally! — to spread joy through the love of golf. It’s no secret that Texas enjoys golf, and it will be thrilling to bring the mobile golf simulator around the Frisco area. With the golf industry growing and great support from both HQ and other owners, I am excited for Dryvebox to find a home here in Texas.” — Brad Toth
Portland, Oregon
Owner: Alex Baez Expected Launch: March
Dryvebox officially will launch in Portland later this spring with Alex Baez, the local owner, at the helm. Portland can thank social media for Dryvebox’s arrival, as Baez initially learned about the company from a Jake Hutt video. That sent him down a rabbit hole of research, and ultimately he arrived at a simple conclusion: this was a no-brainer.
“From Day 1 of reaching out to Dryvebox, the communication and relationship-building has been genuine and straightforward. We all want the same thing — to bring the sport we collectively love to the most possible people. Whether that is a brand activation at the 2026 World Cup — fingers crossed! — or a local Portlander’s birthday party, I am thrilled to say I will be able to provide my community with a great experience.” — Alex Baez
Salt Lake City, Utah
Owners: Jeff and Joey Swain Expected Launch: May
Get ready, Salt Lake City. Thanks to Jeff and Joey Swain, the local owners, Dryvebox will officially launch in May as the company deepens its roots in Utah. Dryvebox had already been making an impact on the local Utah community, and now it will have a permanent presence.
“I know how well my fellow Utah residents enjoy playing golf, and I am ecstatic that I can bring them the Dryvebox experience. Once you set foot in one of our Boxes, you fully understand why so many people across the country enjoy taking swings in them. I love playing golf myself, and being able to help expand the game on an everyday basis is such a great opportunity.” — Jeff and Joey Swain
Fairfield, Connecticut
Owner: Mike Dusiewicz Expected Launch: May
Dryvebox is coming to Connecticut in a major way. Backed by Fairfield owner Mike Dusiewicz, Dryvebox will launch multiple units over time in response to significant interest and opportunity. It will enjoy the leadership of Dusiewicz, a former real estate broker and developer who has spent years looking to open a brick-and-mortar golf simulator business.
“My passion for golf grew every year, and now I can help others feel the way I do about the game I love. Ever since I flew out to San Francisco earlier this year, I was all-in. The Dryvebox team is full of amazing, passionate people. Anybody who steps inside a Dryvebox can feel that. People in Connecticut will soon see the types of amazing experiences you get inside a Dryvebox.” — Mike Dusiewicz
Tampa, Florida
Owner: Ryan Kortze Expected Launch: May
The substantial Dryvebox presence in Florida will soon get a major boost with the help of Ryan Kortze, the Tampa owner. Kortze can put his golf fanatic resumé up against anybody. The two-decade military veteran who owns a woodworking business built a golf simulator at his house for him and his son to train. That experience led him to wonder whether he could build golf simulators for others — instead of doing that, he will now be able to simply drive a mobile golf simulator around the area.
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania & Denver, Colorado
Pittsburgh and Denver round out the new franchise wave, with local owners getting Boxes on the road in the months ahead. Both markets will join the Dryvebox network as we continue to expand across the United States.
