Party Buyer's Guide

How much doesrenting a golf simulator for a party cost?

Renting a mobile golf simulator for a private party runs roughly $700 for a 2-hour booking to $2,000+ for a half-day backyard event. The per-guest math works out to $15–$30 — comparable to a photo booth, less than most catered options. Here's how the price actually breaks down for birthdays, holidays, tailgates, and backyard gatherings.

What you actually get at each party budget.

Private party rentals fall into three brackets. The price gap isn't really about the simulator — it's about who shows up to run it, what shape the equipment is in, and whether your guests come back for a second swing.

How to choose your setup

Entry

Budget inflatable

Workable for a kid's birthday in the backyard if the budget is tight and the bar is light entertainment. Don't expect a real golf experience — consumer tracking, generic clubs, no staff.

Standard

Mid-tier pop-up

Reasonable for a small adult party at a venue with indoor space, where the owner-operator can run it solo. Better tech than inflatable; limited capacity and weather flexibility.

Premium

Dryvebox

Built for milestone birthdays, tailgates, holiday parties, and backyard gatherings where guests actually swing real clubs on real tech. Tour-grade simulator, premium OEM clubs, trained host, and the only patented climate-controlled mobile trailer — works rain or shine.

What shows up to your party

Every booking includes $147,000+ of equipment.

When you book Dryvebox for a private party, this is what shows up in your driveway, backyard, or venue. None of it is upcharged — it's all bundled into one flat quote.

What drives party cost

Three things change your final party quote.

At the Dryvebox tier the equipment, staff, insurance, and clubs are fixed. These are the dials that move your final number — and they're usually the only questions we ask before sending a quote.

Hours on-site

Most parties book 3 hours — the sweet spot where every guest gets multiple swings without lulls. Minimum is 2 hours. Hourly rates start at $350/hr; 3-hour party bookings typically run $1,050–$1,500 all-in.

Guest count & age range

We handle 20–30 guests per hour on open rotation — a 50-guest party works perfectly over 2–3 hours. Kid parties and milestone birthdays often include junior clubs and easy-mode games. Adult tailgates and milestone birthdays use full-swing competitions.

Driveway, backyard, or venue

The trailer needs 15' wide × 40' long × 13' tall — fits most driveways and lots. Backyards with a grass surface work fine. Indoor venue or tight space? The indoor pop-up bay sets up in 13' × 15' × 10' in under 90 minutes. Travel from our service hub is quoted upfront.
